About This Opportunity
We are seeking an agile individual with an eye for detail to process a range of employee services to meet the operational and service delivery needs of the University.
Locally known as the Officer, Employee Services, you will be responsible for reviewing, coordinating and approving the processing of employee service transactions in accordance with relevant policies and/or external legislative and regulatory controls. It is essential that you are analytical, organised and a natural problem solver to troubleshoot/escalate complex transactions or issues that may occur during processing.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Coordinates the efficient, consistent, accurate, and timely delivery of transactions and business processes that support the delivery of high quality services in support of the client portfolio
- Approves transactions and data entry processed by Assistants HR, Employee Services in the HRIS, ensuring approvals are in place and the work is in alignment with relevant policies, procedures and the enterprise agreement
- Escalates complex issues or sensitive client needs in relation to transactional processing to the Team Leader in order to resolve and execute the transaction
- Review and action regular HRIS transactions reports to ensure internal and external audit requirements are achieved
This is a full-time, fixed-term position through to 31 December 2023.
At HEW Level 5, the full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $74,378.89 – $82,842.92, plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be up to $87,023.30 – $96,926.22 annually.
About You
- Degree qualifications in Business or a related field or an equivalent combination of relevant experience in HRIS administration or shared services and/or education and training
- Knowledge and experience working with enterprise HRIS systems to manage, review and approve transactions processing services
- Demonstrated ability to apply a structured problem solving approach and good judgement to analyse, manage and resolve a diverse range of transactional issues in alignment with relevant policies, procedures and the enterprise agreement
- Experience working with enterprise technology and software solutions and systems, utilising multiple user modules for the submission of a diverse range of data and information sets
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in using the Microsoft Office products – Windows, Excel and Word
