Campus Life Planning, Design and Construction plan and deliver new built assets, (under $50M) refurbishment of existing facilities and replacement or upgrade of services infrastructure for Griffith University.

Job Description
The value of the program of works to be delivered for the next 3 years is approximately $300 M. The projects are diverse incorporating: replacement of critical assets and equipment, site services upgrades, renewable energy installations, refurbishments and a new building. Works will be undertaken on all of the University’s 5 campuses – Gold Coast, Logan, Nathan, South Bank and Mt Gravatt.
Based at Nathan, and reporting to the Director, Campus Life, you will lead a team of over 20 competent project professionals, based at both Nathan and Gold Coast campuses.
You will provide the strategic vision for the delivery of the program and leadership to the team. You will liaise with various stakeholders, including members of the senior executive and provide regular, clear and accurate reporting. You will embody and model a professional enthusiastic and positive culture within the team and represent Campus Life to the broader university.

Qualifications
About you
- Qualified in Construction or related disciplines
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of extensive programs of construction work, projects and client liaison; scoping and project briefing and reporting
- Demonstrated experience in building, leading and managing effective teams
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Experience as a formal superintendent for construction contract
What we can offer
A total remuneration package of $250,000. (Salary packaging to include 17% superannuation is available).
This is a full-time 5-year fixed term position and is based at the Nathan campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.
